dearImage… is a research project questioning the meaning, effect and value of the personal photograph.Â

What might only be meant as a snapshot to mark an occasion, with time becomes loaded with extended meanings. This project considers how the bond between image and memory carries, and what happens when the personal becomes shared and viewed.

We invite you to release your personal image, to either share the important moment or to free yourself from a burdened memory.
